The "Spring Pawty" Adoption Event is taking place at Wickham Park's Main Pavillion this Saturday, March 13 from 9 am til 12 noon at Wickham Park's Main Pavillion next to BCC! There will be animals there from the South Animal Care Center in Melbourne, the Central Brevard Humane Society in Cocoa and the Aloha Vet. Clinic in Indialantic. Please give a loving animal a forever home!

Guardian Ad Litem is an organization of volunteers who represent the best interest of abused, abandoned or neglected children in court. They need 80 new volunteers by October 2009. Volunteers must be 19 years old and have never have had a felony.

Brevard County Parks and Rec. will begin hosting the "Prime Timers" program at the Wickham Senior Center, 2785 Leisure Way inside Wickham Park. The Space Coast Chapter of the Compassionate Friends (a self-help organization who have all experienced the tragic loss of a child), is meeting twice monthly at two locations on the Space Coast.
