Luke Combs is preventing Luke Combs from breaking Luke Combsā all-time Billboard chart record. Yes, thatās a mouthful, but hereās the deal.
In late October 2019, Lukeās 2017 debut album, This Oneās for You, reached No. 1 on Billboardās Top Country Albums chart for the 50th week, tying him with Shania Twainās Come On Over for the all-time record of most weeks at No. 1.
Since November, a number of A-list artists have dropped new albums that debuted at No. 1, including Old Dominion (Nov. 9), Miranda Lambert (Nov. 16), Jason Aldean (Dec. 7), Blake Shelton (Dec. 28) and Luke Combs (Nov. 23), who released his sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get.
Lukeās new album has already spent five weeks at No. 1, including this week.
No. 2 on the chart this week? Lukeās This Oneās for You. In essence, Luke prevented himself from breaking his tie with Shania this week.
Yes, this is all in good fun.
