Luke Combs helped kick off the sixth season of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Sept. 14 with a socially distanced performance of his quarantine-inspired tune, âSix Feet Apart.â
Penned by Luke, Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder, âSix Feet Apartâ features Luke crooning the chorus: âI miss my mom / I miss my dad / I miss the road / I miss my band / Giving hugs and shaking hands / Itâs a mystery, I suppose / Just how long this thing goes / Thereâll be crowds and thereâll be shows / And there will be light after dark / Someday, when we arenât six feet apart.â
âSix Feet Apartâ will be included on Lukeâs upcoming deluxe album, What You See Ainât Always What You Get, which drops on Oct. 23.
